Moving Slow

After our big ski day yesterday, we slept like babies. This morning we were moving slower than an Austrian going to work. That's pretty slow! When we were making the long trek back to the hotel yesterday with ski's over our shoulders, we decided that there would be no skiing today. This would be a day off! And we made the most of it.

We had a leisurely breakfast, had a good stretching workout, cleaned up, and went out for lunch.

The day we arrived, we tried to go to a place the hotel receptionist had recommended called Aquila. It was too crowded on Tuesday because it was snowing hard and no one was out skiing, they were all in town. Today was a bright, sunny day, everyone but us was out skiing, so it worked. We had a delicious lunch there.

There was a piece of art in the restaurant Brock dubbed "The Daily Drop".

There was no daily drop for us today!

While shopping around town after lunch, we found a place that we were attracted to, wonder why?

This is the most iconic image in St. Anton:

Since our hotel is right behind it, it's easy for us to find our way home. Finally, a sunny day to photograph our hotel!

When we returned to the hotel, we had a spa day. We used the hotel's naked sauna area, and yes, we were sans clothes, and we had the whole place to ourselves. In the Naked Rooms there are 3 saunas of different temperatures, a steam room, and a relaxation room.

In the Naked Rooms there is a list of rules. My favorite one is "No Staring", with a picture of a man staring at a woman's boobs. I continually had to remind Brock of this rule, but he says it doesn't apply when it's your wife.

When you're done sweating in the sauna, you can dump a bucket of ice cold water over yourself (really, I'm not kidding!), shower, dry off, lie on a heated water bed in the relaxation room, and fall asleep. Then you can have a massage and get all the soreness rubbed out of your muscles.

We did that today, and it was divine! We're rejuvenated and ready for action again!

Remember, you were invited to join us. You too could have been in the Naked Rooms!
